BIG ASS COATS

 

Coats are such an important wardrobe statement. And we like BIG ASS COATS.  I know winter season is almost over,  but this is not about being warm, but looking good!
I'm actually thinking of sporting this look a lot this spring with the help of more lightweight pieces, like raincoats etc... with just a tshirt underneath.

Il cappotto è un capo importantissimo nel guardaroba di ogni Shampa. E a noi  piacciono i cappotti GROSSI.  Lo so che l'inverno è quasi finito ( anche se fa ancora freddo) il concetto fondamentale qui non è stare caldi, ma apparire fichissimi.
Credo che riproporrò questo look per la primavera, sostituendo il cappotto con qualcosa di più leggero, tipo trench o spolverino... con sotto solo una tshirt.

Fight the RAIN!!!

TOday was officially the first day of Autumn over here. Clouds and a lot of rain. So, what's the best way to fight a grey weather than to wear something bright???
This is a little ironic coming from my mouth, since I'm wearing exclusively balck righ now...but! I might change my mind, and wear a baby pink batwing sweartshirt (that I do own, for real). Maybe. Or maybe not!
Let the winter come. I'm ready!

The Lordess of the Rings

All I want is RINGS! Big, bold, shiny, gigantic,luxurious RINGS!!
But as much as I do love those rings I am really aware of how impractical they are...they're heavy, the got stuck in my hair and in my wool sweaters, and sometimes I loose them when I go on hysteric phone searching into my handbag.
But the biggest issue with big rings is yet to come...
I suffer from cold hands in the winter- I mean dreadful ice cold hands- so the basic need to wear gloves. I have a pretty collection of fashion leather gloves....but how am I supposed to wear them with the GIANT RINGS???? Should I wear the rings ON THE GLOVES?? oh gosh no...

I have no idea, dammit! Here in Rome is not gloves-cold yet, so I'm still figuring out...suggestions are welcome!!

When it comes to winter apparel, I really like sleek simple lines. Uniqlo is extremely good at that job. (per non parlare dei loro fantastici maglioncini misto cachemire, ma quella è un'altra storia).
