90's throwback of the week : Alanis Morrisette

Sono due giorni che con le mie amiche del liceo ascolto i brani di uno degli album più significativi della mia adolescenza: Jagged Little Pill di Alanis Morrisette. Apparte il fatto che sono frustratissima perchè non riesco a trovare su youtube un video che mi permetta di incorporare il codice nel post non mi sono data per vinta e mi sono dedicata lla ricerca di immagini su google... La cosa che volevo condividere con tutti voi non sono certo le immagini di Alanis capellona e incazzata di "You oughta know", o di quella con le treccine di "Ironic" che tutti voi dovreste conoscere e se non le conoscete, beh siete pessimi/e.

Hair Trend: the 70's bob

Caschetto is Back! Ma non corto e squadrato, un pò più lungo e dalle linee morbide, con frangetta sfilzata... diciamo un versione soft del caschetto delle direttora megagalattica, Anna Wintour, per capirci.

Abbey Lee quì è deliziosa, ma io temo che uno styling del capello così retro, l'unico effetto che possa ottenere sulla maggior parte di noi mortali E' DI INVECCHIARTI DI ALMENO 10 ANNI. Quindi astenersi over 25.

In versione dritto e spettinato, è effettivamente più moderno, credo quindi che scongiuri l'effetto mi nonna, c'è da dire però che mi piace molto meno!!! Come la mettiamo??
Tutto questo è solo wishful thinking, perchè qui a shampahouse, siamo fan oltranziste dei capelli lunghi, a tutti i costi!:D

V.I.P.I. (very important personal issue) of the day : THE FRINGE

Some of you may know that I cut my fringe a couple of months ago. This was completely histerical since SUMMER was coming, and summer is the worst enemy for your fringe. You know... the heat, you sweat a little, the fringe curls and separates and all that jazz. But then I was living in London, and it wasn't that hot at the end of the day!
But then another V.I.P.I. was coming my way. Guess what, the fringe GROWS! AND FAST!
Incredible!!!Shocker right??? Aahahahahhaha!
This is big for me because I really don't like going to the hair salon. I was used to go there just twice a year, and I was not willing to change my habits. So I took the decision to cut the fringe myself on the regular. I bought semi-pro scissors, a tight comb and then I did what I always do when I have NO CLUE on something, I turned to Youtube.
Ladies, let me introduce you to my new personal hero: TED.


I find the way he talks slightly hypnotic!!
Nevermind how the girl is doing it in the video, because she's clearly retarded, poor thing. Just take Ted's advice and use it! :D
