Unfortunately since I'm a hot mess, yesterday I lost the train I was supposed to catch to meet my friend Livia in Southampton. But the tube was closed, and I arrived too late!
Anyway!
I'm still here in East London, and that's it!:D

Ieri dovevo prendere un treno per andare a trovare la mia amica Livia a Southampton, ma visto che la mia metro era chiusa, ovviamente sono arrivata tardi e l'ho perso! Quindi, Pasqua a casa East London per me...Ovviamene qui è grigio e freddino, ma oramai c'ho perso le speranze!
Almeno io ed il mio amico Emanuele (colui il quale mi fa le foto, sant'uomo) siamo riusciti a mangiare l'uovo alla fine!

My first fashion show!

Yesterday I slaved for 11 hours for my first fashion show. I was assisting Tui, who was assisting Nic. Basically I was the styling slave of the styling assistant!:D
It was a charity event hosted at the Islington Town Hall. It's absolutely insane how much works it takes, for just 15 minutes show. INSANE. Everything must be prepared, fitted on the models, ironed or steamed, then put on the models very quickly during the show, and the back into the bags and boxes. Ironing/steaming/boxing is the part that takes most of the time...guess who does that?

It was a multicultural show and a lot of pieces were from designers from all over the world, and oh boy we had some amazing pieces of tribaL beaded jewelry! I mean, look at them!

Big in Japan: Straw Boater Hat

Avvistato per le strade e i negozi di Harajuku , il cappello in paglia da gondoliere o simil, anche in versione bianco, nero, di tela, tempestato di fiori di campo, e chi più ne ha più ne metta, IMPAZZA nel paese del Sol Levante!

Io che sto troppo avanti e sempre sul pezzo ne avevo comprato uno l'anno scorso da un negozio on line svedese!! ;P

I commenti per strada "aho, ma ndo l'hai parcheggiata la gondola?" si sono sprecati ogni qual volta che ho messo il suddetto cappello. Importante: mai abbinare il sopracitato cappello ad una maglia a righe!MAI!
Per quest'anno vorrei provare la versione romantica, e magari aggiungere qualche fiorellino!! Anche se poi ...potrei sentirmi una deficente. Forse un paio di margheritine da una lato..mmmm... ora vedo :D
